Senna is a natural herb native to tropical Africa and cultivated in Egypt, the Sudan, and other regions. It has been used for centuries in northern Africa and southwestern Asia to support healthy bowel function.

Our Senna Leaf is sourced directly from India and is kosher certified and non-irradiated. It is harvested around April and September to preserve maximum potency and purity.

Enjoy the slightly sweet and bitter undertones of Senna Leaf in tea or combine it with other teas for a unique blend. Simply steep ½ teaspoon of Senna leaf with 1 cup of boiling water for 3-5 minutes.

Suggested Use: To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1/2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Warnings: Not for use during pregnancy except under the supervision of a qualified health practitioner. Not for use in persons with intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain of unknown origin, or any inflammatory condition of the intestines.
