Frontier Pau d'Arco - A Responsible Herbal Supplement
Frontier Pau d'Arco is a herbal supplement derived from the inner bark of a tropical tree native to Central and South America. The tea brewed from this species is commonly referred to as Lapacho or Taheebo, and contains lapachol, quercetin, and flavonoids. To get the most out of this supplement, take the tincture in water with a little lemon juice to allow tannins to be absorbed through the colon.
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes, strain, and serve immediately. As with any supplement, consult a healthcare practitioner before using if you have any medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or taking medication.
