Frontier Co-op Psyllium Husk (Plantago ovata) is a gluten-free herb that is mostly used in baked goods, creams, and soups. It has glue-like properties that helps foods and ingredients stick together.

This herb is an active ingredient that swells when mixed with fluids. It is used in water, fruit juice, stews, soups, pureed vegetables, and even baked goods to improve texture.

Our psyllium husk is easily worked into a wide range of recipes without impacting flavor. It only adds thickness.

Suggested Use

Mix 1 Tbsp. of Psyllium with at least 8 oz. (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. See warning.
