Always dilute bluing with cold water in a separate container before adding to wash load.​How much bluing: small load - a few drops, large load - up to 1/4 teaspoon.How to use bluing:Dilute bluing in 1 to 2 quarts of cold water. Add diluted bluing to wash water or final rinse water. Wash water should appear a light sky blue color.Note: If too much is used or spilled on clothing, soak fabric overnight in a solution of 1/2 cup household ammonia to 1 quart of cold water, in a tightly covered container.
