Simply tilt the cup and suck on the valve's edge. Do not bite.To Clean: Remove the lid. Lift and pull the center tab to unseat the valve from the collar. Then unscrew the collar from the cup. Always wash all parts before use. Rinse all components with warm water immediately after each use. Wash all parts in mild soapy water or on the top rack of a dishwasher. For a deeper clean, carefully remove clear o-ring from top of threading on collar & thoroughly wash. Must be placed back onto collar to ensure the best seal possible.
