Our Kim Chee seasoning mix makes this once time consuming dish as easy as 1-2-3; saving you time and money while delivering the taste you crave! Suggested use 1 pkg. NOH Kim Chee Mix4 lbs. of Napa cabbage (Chinese Won Bok cabbage. Other vegetables can be used; turnips, cucumbers, etc.)1 cup of rock salt or table salt.1 gallon (16 cups) water Fill a large container ( ie: pot, etc.) with 1 gallon of water. Add 1 cup of salt and mix well.Cut cabbage 1 1/2 x 2 inches in size. Place the cut cabbage into the gallon of water. Using a large heavy dinner plate keep the cabbage submerged under water for at least 8 hours; overnight is best. Rinse cabbage in water and drain in colander. Place salted cabbage into a large mixing bowl or pot. Add 1 package NOH Korean Kim Chee and mix well. After mixing thoroughly, place cabbage in a large jar with lid. Refrigerate for 2 days; this will develop the full flavor. Makes a total of 2 quarts of Kim Chee! Other ingredients Cane sugar, chili pepper, garlic powder, salt, powdered vinegar (maltodextrin, white distilled vinegar, food starch-modified), ground ginger, spices (paprika, onion powder, black pepper), calcium silicate (an anti-caking agent).Processed on shared equipment with tree nuts, fish, eggs, milk, wheat & soy.
