This medication helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes, providing temporary relief from symptoms occurring with a cold, such as nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation.
Suggested Use: For children 6 to under 12 years, take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 4 hours. For children 4 to under 6 years, take 1 teaspoon (5 mL) every 4 hours. Do not use for children under 4 years.
