Colostrum: A beneficial, milk-like liquid that is the first stage of breast milk production.
Prebiotics & Probiotics: Live bacteria that supports normal gut function, while also helping to grow, nourish, and maintain gut flora in the digestive tract.
Omega Fatty Acids: Includes Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids (with DHA), which are vital to the cardiovascular system and sources of nutritional support for skin and coat health.
Suggested use
For use in puppies up to 6 weeks and pregnant or lactating dogs.
Mixing Directions: Gently stir or shake 1 part powder into 2 parts warm water (a part may be a teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup). Do not reconstitute more powder than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Blended liquid should be kept refrigerated. One 12 oz (340 g) pouch makes approximately 60 oz (1.7 L) of liquid mixed 1:2.
Feeding Directions: All puppies should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted powder to room or body temperature before serving. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid per 4 oz (115 g) of body weight daily. The daily feeding amount should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Young and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Older puppies can be fed every 8 hours. Weigh the puppies daily to assure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice. When puppies are old enough to lap (3 to 4 weeks) begin offering the liquid in a saucer. During the 6th week mix the liquid with solid, complete dog food.
Pregnant and lactating dogs: Feed 2 teaspoons powder per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) body weight daily.
